Preserving our health—especially as the weather cools and the days darken—is the best thing we can do to live our fullest lives possible. With a solid foundation of physical and mental wellness, we can have the strength, energy, and confidence to express ourselves in the most authentic way. For me, starting each day with my foundation in place means doing what it takes to get good sleep, eat healthy food, move my body in ways that feel good, do purposeful work, and manage my stress. Easier said than done, yes, but it all begins with the first steps. What you do this moment will evolve into hours, days, weeks, months, and years. Begin practicing little things that help build your foundation, which will quickly become longer-term habits. We all have one shot at this beautiful life, so let’s set ourselves up for success to be the very best versions of ourselves every single day.
